In order to commemorate the 116th National Awakening Day which falls on May 20, 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency held a flag ceremony in the yard of the BPS Pasangkayu office, Tuesday morning (20/5).
The ceremony took place solemnly and orderly, with all BPS Pasangkayu employees participating in a series of activities with a full spirit of nationalism. Acting as the ceremony instructor was Associate Statistician, Alim Sudiasto, who delivered a message emphasizing the importance of the spirit of awakening in facing the challenges of the times, especially in realizing accurate and quality data services for the community.
In his message, Alim Sudiasto invited all BPS ranks to make the momentum of national awakening a reminder of the importance of unity, collaboration, and real contribution to national development through reliable statistics.
"Just as the founders of the nation rose up against colonialism with a spirit of unity, today we must rise up to face global challenges by increasing capacity and integrity in statistical tasks," he said.
The ceremony was closed with a joint prayer and continued with a photo session with all employees as a form of togetherness and the spirit of mutual cooperation in carrying out their duties.
This commemoration is a moment of reflection for all BPS Pasangkayu employees to continue to innovate and work professionally to support regional development through accurate and reliable data.
