BPS Pasangkayu Conducts National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) February 2024

#SahabatData, on 15 February - 7 March 2024 BPS is conducting the 2024 National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS). In general, Sakernas aims to provide basic data on sustainable employment, while specifically to obtain information/data on the number of people who are working and who are currently looking for work and development.

Sakernas field officers consist of PCL (Field Enumerator) and PML (Field Inspector). PCL is tasked with updating households and then continuing with enumerating each selected sample household. PCL is accompanied by PML to ensure that the census runs smoothly and according to SOP. PML is also tasked with checking the contents of the documents resulting from PCL data collection in the field before they are submitted to the data processing stage.

Accurate and high-quality SAKERNAS data will certainly be a strong basis for policy making at the national level, especially regarding the employment sector.
