Sectoral Statistics: Strengthening Sectoral Statistics, BPS Guides OPD of Pasangkayu Regency

The series of sectoral statistics and statistical metadata training events began with a speech by the Head of BPS Pasangkayu Regency, Mrs. Chitra Dewi Said, S.T., followed by a training session led by the Head of the Data Processing Integration and Statistics Dissemination Team of BPS Pasangkayu, Deka Nur Amala. In this session, various technical and methodological aspects related to sectoral statistics and statistical metadata were explained. Participants were given an in-depth understanding of how to collect, process, and disseminate sectoral statistical data in accordance with national standards.

It is hoped that through this activity, the sectoral statistical data produced by each OPD can become more relevant, accurate, timely, easily accessible, easily interpreted, and consistent. Thus, this data can be used effectively as a basis for planning and decision-making by the OPD of Pasangkayu Regency Government. This activity also aims to increase the capacity of OPD employees in managing statistical data, thereby supporting more measurable and data-based regional development.
