During May 2023 the export value of Sulawesi Barat Province reached US $ 14.74 million and no import

The export value of Sulawesi Barat Province in May 2023 reached US $ 14.74 million, down 46.41 percent compared to April 2023. Different conditions compared to May 2022 where there was an increase of 603.94 percent.

Animal/vegetable fats & oils are the main export commodities of Sulawesi Barat Province during May 2023 with a contribution of 77.11 percent of the total exports of Sulawesi Barat Province.

South Korea became the largest destination country for the export of Sulawesi Barat Province during May 2023 with a contribution of 70.26 percent.

Cumulatively, the export value of Sulawesi Barat Province rose by 2.14 percent, from US $ 141.22 million (January-May 2022) to US $ 144.25 million (January-May 2023).

During May 2023 there was no record of import activities in Sulawesi Barat Province. This condition is different from May 2022 which was recorded at US $ 0.96 million.

Cumulatively, the import value of Sulawesi Barat Province rose by 12.76 percent, from US $ 1.59 million (January-May 2022) to US $ 1.80 million (January-May 2023).
