Abstract

According to Consumer Price Survey Result that 82 cities in Indonesian on May 2018, indicate that 65 cities was inflation and 17 cities was deflation. The highest inflation rate was happen in Tual amount of 1,88 percent with CPI 149,87 dan the lowest in Purwokerto and Tangerang amount of 0,01 percent, Mamuju ranks occupy on 36th from 65 cities that was happen inflation.

Inflation in Mamuju City on May 2018 was happen because increased of price that shows by increased price index at six expenditure group there are food stuff 0,38 percent; prepared food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group 0,16 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0,09 percent; clothing 0,13 percent; health 0,34 percent; and transportation, communication, and financial service 0,66 percent; while education, recreation and sport group was deflation 0,04w percent.

The rate of index change of calender year on May 2018 in Mamuju was inflation 0,73 percent while change of index year by year (May 2018 to May 2017) was inflation 2,80 percent.
