Abstract

According to Consumer Price Survey Result that 82 cities in Indonesian at Janury 2018, indicate that all 79 cities was inflation and 3 cities was deflation. The highest inflation rate was happen in Bandar Lampung amount of 1,42 percent with CPI 133,17 dan the lowest in Tangerang was 0,04 percent, Mamuju ranks occupy 54th from 79 cities that was happen inflation.

Inflation in Mamuju City at January 2018 was happen because there is increased price that show by increased of price index at six expenditure group there are food stuff 1,80 percent; prepared food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco 0,28 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0,10 percent; clothing 0,04 percent; and education, recreation and sport group 0,01 percent, While one expenditure group was deflation that is transport, communication and financial group 0,10 percent.

The rate of index change of calender year of, January 2018 in Mamuju was inflation 0,50 percent while change of index year by year (January 2018 to January 2017) was inflation 3,70 percent.
