March 13, 2025 | BPS Activities

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency held an online briefing for officers of the 2025 Industry, Mining, Energy, and Construction Survey (Ipek) via the Zoom platform on Thursday, March 13, 2025. This activity aims to provide technical training to field officers so that they can carry out surveys properly and in accordance with established procedures.

This briefing was guided by instructors who are organic BPS employees, who provided material related to survey methodology, interview techniques, and questionnaire filling procedures. In addition, participants also received direction on the importance of maintaining data accuracy and quality as a basis for formulating policies in the industry, mining, energy, and construction sectors.

In her remarks, the Head of BPS Pasangkayu Chitra Dewi Said emphasized that the success of the survey is highly dependent on the professionalism and accuracy of officers in collecting data in the field. "This survey has a strategic role in providing accurate and accountable information. Therefore, it is important for officers to understand each stage of data collection well," said Chitra.

With this briefing, it is hoped that officers can carry out their duties optimally so that the survey results can describe the real conditions of the industrial, mining, energy, and construction sectors in Indonesia.
