Supporting Transparency, BPS Attends UMK Determination Meeting

This meeting aims to ensure that decisions are taken based on accurate data and analysis. As an official data provider, BPS contributes the latest statistical information regarding economic growth, inflation rates and employment conditions in the region. This data is an important basis for determining a fair and balanced MSE value for workers and entrepreneurs.

Dimas Agung Satrio Prakoso as the representative of BPS Pasangkayu at this activity said that the presence of BPS at this meeting was a form of support for the data-based decision making process. "We hope that the data we present can help the Regional Government and the Wage Council in determining the best policies," he said.

The meeting was also attended by several representatives from related agencies. The discussions were constructive, with all parties committed to reaching an agreement that provides benefits for all parties, both workers and business actors.

With collaboration between the Regional Government, BPS, and other related parties, it is hoped that the determination of the UMK can be transparent, accountable, and in accordance with real conditions in the field.
