Successfully Holding Officer Training, BPS Pasangkayu Ready to Conduct Sakernas August 2024

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency held a training for National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) officers which was held for four days, on July 15-16 (independent learning) and July 17-18 (Offline/Face-to-Face). In the independent learning, prospective officers were instructed to independently study several concepts and definitions related to Sakernas data collection. In addition, officers were also given the task of practicing filling out questionnaires on the Fasih application.

The Head of BPS of Pasangkayu Regency, Chitra Dewi Said, when opening the training activity said that the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is one of the important sources of employment data in Indonesia. Sakernas data has been widely used by various groups, both domestically and abroad. Therefore, the continuity of the availability and quality of Sakernas data must be maintained and improved.

The Training for Prospective National Labor Force Survey Officers of Pasangkayu Regency was attended by 30 field officers, consisting of 20 Field Enumerators and 10 Field Supervisory Officers. Each field supervisor has the burden of supervising 2 field officers. The August Sakernas training was guided by a regional instructor from the BPS of Pasangkayu Regency, Faizul Satrio Utomo.

The Head of BPS of Pasangkayu Regency hopes that the officers can follow this well, focus and do not be shy to ask the regional instructor if there is anything unclear in filling out the agricultural business enumeration questionnaire. So that officers can have a good understanding of the concepts and definitions to obtain quality information and data from respondents.
