July 15, 2024 | Other Activities

On July 15, 2024, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency held a significant event to inaugurate the "Beautiful Village" initiative, also known as the Statistical Love Village. The event, which took place at the rear courtyard of the Pasangkayu Regency Regent's Office, was attended by several key figures including the Regent of Pasangkayu, the Head of the Village Community Empowerment Agency, the Head of the Regional Planning and Development Agency, the Head of the Communication, Informatics, Cryptography, and Statistics Office, the Head of the Pedongga Sub-district, the Head of Malei Village, as well as all Village Chiefs and Members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) from across Pasangkayu Regency.

The activity marked Malei Village in Pedongga Sub-district as the designated "Beautiful Village," based on a recommendation from the Village Community Empowerment Agency. The signing of the Inauguration Charter served as concrete evidence of Pasangkayu Regency Government's full commitment to this program.

Pasangkayu Regent, H. Yaumil Ambo Djiwa, S.H., emphasized in his address the importance of expanding the Beautiful Village program to all villages in Pasangkayu Regency. He expressed hope that every village, as the smallest administrative unit, could actively contribute to achieving a high-quality Indonesia Data System. Consequently, this step is expected not only to enhance the quality of local statistical data but also to strengthen the role of villages in sustainable development.
