Abstract

Percentage of poor people at September 2017 was 11,18 percent or decrease 0,12 percent compared to March 2017 that was 11,30 percent.

Number of poor people in Sulawesi Barat at September 2017 was 149,47 thousand people or reduce 0,29 thousand people while compared with March 2017.

During March 2017 – September 2017, number and percentage of poor people in the urban area increase to 6,52 thousand people or decrease 0,97 percent. While, in rural area number and percentage of poor people decreased to 6,81 thousand people or decrease 0,33 percent. As well as if compared during one year (September 2016 – September 2017), in the urban area increase to 1,07 percent or absolutely number of poor people increase 4,95 thousand people, while in the rural area number and percentage of poor people decrease to 2,38 thousand people (0,30 percent).

Poverty line (PL) of Sulawesi Barat is Rp. 315.918,- per capita per month or increase 4,31 percent while compared to March 2017. Contribution of food PL to PL at September 2017 is 78,99 percent.
