Safeguarding Employment Data: BPS Pasangkayu Completes the August 2026 Sakernas Updating

The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency has completed the updating phase of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) for the August 2026 period, which was conducted from July 24 to August 14, 2026. During this activity, BPS officers went directly to the field to conduct door-to-door data collection to capture the real employment conditions of the community. The results of this data collection aim to produce the latest employment indicators, such as the labor force participation rate and the unemployment rate, which will serve as the main reference for the government in evaluating and formulating well-targeted policies. The success of this survey is inseparable from the hard work of the field officers and the cooperative attitude of Pasangkayu residents in providing honest information.
