BPS Pasangkayu Regency organized a training program for the August 2026 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) officers through three structured stages. The initial stage was an independent learning phase via a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) from July 13–15, 2026, followed directly by Distance Learning via Zoom on July 16, 17, and 20, 2026, to dissect concepts and case studies with the instructors.
The culmination of the training was held face-to-face at the BPS Pasangkayu Regency Office. To maintain the effectiveness of the discussions, the training was divided into two batches: Batch 1 on July 21, 2026, and Batch 2 on July 22, 2026.
During the closing of the event, the Head of BPS Pasangkayu Regency, Hirlan Khaeri, reminded the officers of their significant responsibilities.
"The August Sakernas is a large-scale routine activity that produces various crucial employment indicators, such as the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), and other employment indicators," Hirlan emphasized.
He specifically advised the officers to strictly adhere to the concepts and prioritize accuracy during interviews. With a unified understanding established, BPS Pasangkayu Regency is optimistic about presenting an accurate, high-quality, and relevant portrait of employment data as a solid foundation for development planning.
