From House to House, BPS Pasangkayu Implements SUPAS June–July 2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pasangkayu Regency has started field data collection activities for the 2025 Intercensal Population Census (SUPAS) which will last for two months, from June to July 2025. This activity is part of BPS's national agenda to obtain the latest population data as a bridge between the 2020 Population Census and the 2030 Population Census.

The 2025 SUPAS field data collection was carried out by field officers who had undergone intensive training, using the direct interview method to residents' homes. The data collected includes basic information on population size, age structure, migration, education, and several other social indicators that are very much needed for regional and national development planning.

Head of BPS Pasangkayu Chitra Dewi Said said that active community participation is very much needed so that data collection runs smoothly and produces accurate data. "We appeal to all residents of Pasangkayu Regency to accept the arrival of BPS officers and provide true information. The data collected will be kept confidential in accordance with the Statistics Law," he said.

Through SUPAS 2025, BPS Pasangkayu is committed to presenting up-to-date, accurate population data that can be used as a basis for formulating more targeted development policies in Pasangkayu Regency.
