Upacara Bela Negara BPS Pasangkayu: Data Akurat, Wujud Bela Negara Insan BPS

Thursday, December 19, 2024. The Commemoration Ceremony of the 76th National Defense Day was held in the courtyard of the BPS (Statistics Indonesia) office in Pasangkayu Regency. The ceremony was attended by all employees, both civil servants (ASN) and non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN). The ceremony proceeded solemnly and calmly despite the cloudy weather in Pasangkayu accompanied by a light drizzle. This did not dampen the spirits of the employees, who remained committed to carrying out the ceremony. This event served as an important moment for all BPS personnel to reflect on the spirit of national defense and implement it in their daily duties and responsibilities, especially in providing accurate and quality data for national development.

The Head of the General Subdivision of BPS Pasangkayu Regency, Kukuh Adhi Hatmanto, acted as the ceremony inspector. In his address, he conveyed a message from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, emphasizing that national defense is not only about taking up arms but can also be realized through dedication and professional performance in each respective field. “National defense in this era, for us BPS personnel, is about working professionally, producing accurate and reliable data, and actively contributing to regional and national development,” Kukuh Adhi Hatmanto quoted, reiterating the President’s message. He also added that valid and relevant data is crucial as a foundation for making appropriate policies for the nation’s progress.
