Pasangkayu – BPS of Pasangkayu Regency through the Agency Assessment Team (TPB) assisted the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) of the local government of Pasangkayu to carry out an Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) on December 21, 2022, in the Meeting Room of the Pasangkayu Regency BPS Office. The mentoring activity was attended directly by the Head of the Department of Communication, Informatics, Encoding and Statistics, Kab. Pasangkayu, Suhardi, as well as the Chairman of the TPI Pemda Pasangkayu.
Evaluation of Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) in Pasangkayu was the first time it was carried out by assessing one of the sectoral statistical activities carried out by the Social Service Office of Pasangkayu Regency. The selection of the Social Service as a sample from the assessment is a joint recommendation from TPB and TPI because it is considered sufficient to meet the assessment requirements.
In this evaluation, there is a structure for assessing the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics which includes 5 domains, 19 aspects, and 38 indicators. During the mentoring, the TPB according to their duties and functions, namely explaining to TPI both the meaning, intent and examples of each indicator which is a component of the assessment of the implementation of sectoral statistics. "For each indicator, ladies and gentlemen from TPI are asked to determine the level of maturity of the sectoral statistical activities to be assessed, along with supporting evidence if any," said Mrs. Julmiati, one of the TPB.
Head of the Kominfopers Office, Kab. Pasangkayu Suhardi said that this assessment would greatly assist the Kominfopers Office to determine what needs to be strengthened from sectoral statistical activities that are running in Pasangkayu Regency. "This assessment can be the basis for our strategy in the future to strengthen what is still weak in sectoral statistical activities in Pasangkayu Regency," said Suhardi. (Dimas Agung S. P., S.Tr.
